Other Services
Vaccinations
The Clinic provides routine childhood immunisations as per the National Immunisation Program Schedule. Visits for childhood vaccinations are bulk-billed.
The annual influenza vaccine is available each year in the March to May period.
Travel Immunisations
To assess your pre-travel health needs a long consultation is required to allow time for advice, vaccinations, and to prescribe any additional medications.
We recommend you see a doctor at least two months prior to travel.
Skin Clinic
To assess your Skin for any changes, please book in with your Doctor for a full Body Skin Check.
Our Doctors will check for any unusual or suspicious freckles and/or moles. If the Doctor identifies anything that requires attention, they can use cryotherapy (Freeze), take a biopsy and/or excise under a local anaesthetic and, if need be, can refer onto a Surgeon.
When was the last time you had your skin check?

Recalls
A patient will be recalled where the results of clinical condition/s, if not followed up, may result in further complications for the patient.
Reminders
We may send you a letter to remind you of a test or a service when it falls due. We do this routinely for Cervical Screening (CST) tests, vaccinations and care plan reviews. Your information will be entered onto both the Bluewater Medical Practice and the relevant National recall databases. Please inform us if you would prefer not to have a reminder letter sent.
Results
All results can be discussed by making an appointment with your doctor. Reception staff are not medically trained to be able to provide or discuss specific results, but may be able to relay the doctor's comments. Doctors will notify patients by telephone if a result requires urgent attention.
